BISMARCK, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Earlier this week, the North Dakota Game & Fish Department announced that pronghorn and swan applications were now available.
Only North Dakota residents are eligible to apply for a pronghorn license. The pronghorn license fee is $30 for ages 16 and older, and $10 for under age 16. Game & Fish Wildlife Outreach Biologist Doug Leier says they have a few more tags and units open.
Leier says the deadline is approaching quick for pronghorn.
Leier says swan tags run through August 14th. Residents and nonresidents are eligible to apply for a swan license. The resident swan license is $10, while the nonresident fee is $30.
In fishing news, Leier says the stable weather has pushed fish deeper in the waters.
You can listen to Doug Leier chat the outdoors with JD in the Morning on Big Dog 95.5 FM every Thursday at 7:35 AM.
