JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Fuel prices in recent days have been on a downward trend, but compared to last month, August fuel prices are up across North Dakota.

According to GasBuddy.com, gas prices are up 3.6 cents per gallon of gas and averaging $2.639 in North Dakota. Compared to August 2018, it’s down from the $2.848 that individuals were seeing at the pump.

The state’s lowest fuel prices can currently be found in the Fargo area with Cosctco in West Fargo boasting $2.43 per gallon of regular fuel. The state’s highest fuel prices are located in Williams County.

The average prices for regular fuel are the same in Barnes and Stutsman Counties, averaging $2.644, slightly above the state’s average.
