JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Jamestown Area Chamber of Commerce is in the business of promoting business.

As part of their promotion of area businesses, they’re constantly looking for nominations of employees and businesses that have provided a superior service to the community.

Jamestown Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Emily Bivens says these businesses and employees are then recognized and honored for their contributions.

Bivens says the more description given on a nomination, the better.

Bivens says nomination forms are available at jamestownchamber.com, but they will also assist anyone who wants to make a nomination if you stop by their office.

The chamber has also opened nominations for the Citizen of the Year and Above and Beyond Award. Both are announced at the annual Chamber Banquet in January.

In other chamber news, Bivens encourages businesses and organizations to get their booths submitted for the upcoming Community Block Party on August 28th.
