VALLEY CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Max Fehr lead a Valley City Hi-Liner rushing attack that ran up 447 yards and five touchdowns in a 36-8 win over Wahpeton in the homecoming game Friday night at Hanna Field.

Fehr had 255 yards on 32 carries and scored the first two touchdowns. A 17 yard run that capped the opening drive and an 11 yarder early in the second quarter. Mitchell Taylor added 90 yards on 15 carries and a four yard touchdown. Brayden Hansen chipped in a four yard touchdown run and Kael Grebel closed out the scoring with a 16 yard touchdown run late in the fourth quarter. Luke Wendel added 55 yards on just 4 carries late in the game.

Derrick Diegel scored for the defense when he talked Dez Munezero in the end zone for a safety in the second quarter to make it 16-0.

Munezero led the Huskie offense with 76 yards rushing on 10 carries and a 19 yard touchdown midway through the fourth quarter.

The Hi-Liners are 4-2 overall and 2-0 in the East Region. They host Devils Lake Friday in the home finale. Wahpeton falls to 0-6 overall and 0-2 in the East Region.
