DEVILS LAKE, N.D. (Submitted) – The Blue Jay Speech Team competed at Devils Lake High School on Saturday, February 1, against 15 class A and B schools from 6 different regions.
The meet had 185 individual entries in 14 speaking categories. Five events state qualified: Cati Suckow in impromptu speaking, Caroline Kiser in dramatic interpretation, Madison Motschenbacher in speech to inform and speech to persuade, and Paris Eslick in speech to entertain.

The team travels to St. Mary’s High School on February 8 and Mandan High School on February 15. On February 22, the team will perform for “parent’s day” at the Jamestown Middle School.
The team is coached by Laura Weis, Chantel Harr, and Brittney Chandler.
