Fargo, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – According to the Fargo Marathon Facebook page the marathon has been postponed to Aug. 29.

Here is a portion of the statement:

Fargo Marathon has been postponed from its original date of Saturday, May 9, to Saturday, Aug. 29.

“We have to do our part, and after the announcement from the CDC last night of not having crowds of more than 50 people, we don’t have a choice,” Race director Mark Knutson.

Marathon organizers are still working through logistics on refunds for the race.
