BISMARCK, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – North Dakota residents who were unsuccessful in the first deer lottery have a chance to apply for the remaining licenses by July 22nd.

Game & Fish Outreach Biologist Doug Leier says only those who applied the first go around can reapply.

More than 6,200 deer gun licenses remain and more than 81,000 individuals applied for a deer gun lottery license, in addition to about 12,600 gratis applicants.

The 2020 deer gun proclamation allows for 69,050 deer gun season licenses. The deer gun season begins November 6th.
