NEW ROCKFORD, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) The 2020 District 4 Independent Baseball tournament starts Monday, July 27th and runs through Wednesday, July 29th in New Rockford. There will be three games each day on Monday and Tuesday starting at 2pm, with the championship scheduled for 4pm on Wednesday. KDAK the Cardinal AM 1600/FM 100.1 and newsdakota.com will broadcast the entire tournament starting about 1:50pm on Monday. The Carrington Redbirds have won the championship for the last six years in row and will play the first game Monday against the Jamestown Blues. Here is the first day schedule:

2pm – No. 5 Carrington vs. No. 4 Jamestown Blues (elimination game)

35 minutes after – No. 1 Kidder County vs. winner of Carrington/Jamestown

35 minutes after – No. 2 Sheyenne/New Rockford vs. No. 3 Nelson County
