JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Jamestown Stutsman Development Corporation (JSDC) Business Attraction Committee discussed the latest at the Spiritwood Energy Park Monday.
JSDC Executive Director Connie Ova reported that there has been trouble with hunters on the property recently.
Ova says on the Klose property, there is farmland and some open acres that weren’t posted. She says the caller said deer were being herded into the field to be shot. She says they would be prepared to contact the Game Warden if the issue persisted.
She says the whole area has now been posted for no hunting.
Ova says the contract on the property doesn’t include hunting rights, but the contract is up at the end of the year. She says they will revamp the lease and put it out on bids once the current contract is up.
