WATFORD CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – ND State 4-H livestock judging contest was held in Watford City on March 6th.

There were 100 junior entries on 18 team and 86 senior entries on 19 teams at the event. The Stutsman County 4-H junior team was Kylee Hofmann, Madison Hofmann, Adam Ryun, and Josh VanEpps. The junior team placed 13th overall and Kylee placed 23rd individually in swine.

Senior team members were Abby Helm, Calli Mack, Cierra Mack, Abby Ryun, Alexis Vandeberghe, Kelsey Vandeberghe and Billy VanEpps. The senior team placed 5th overall.

Individual top 25 awards for both age groups are: Calli – 8th overall, 25th in beef, 6th in goat, and 5th in swine; Abby Helm – 16th overall, 9th in beef, 20th in reasons, 22nd in swine; Kelsey Vandeberghe – 25th in reasons, 14th in swine; Billy VanEpps – 23rd in goat, 17th in sheep; and Kylee Hofmann – 23rd in swine.

These judgers are coached by Jenny Vandehoven.
