VALLEY CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Returning to the City Park Bandshell on Wednesday, July 7th at 7:15 pm is Micaiah’s Studio of Ballet working in cooperation with Dare to Create Foundation of the Arts, Bridges Arts Council, and the Valley City Public Library to put on a performance and Art Show.

This week as part of the 25 year anniversary of Music in the City Park Bandshell, George Dutton of Dutton’s Valley Photography will be recognized for his contributions to the arts & music in Valley City and the surrounding communities.
The Park Performance will be comprising of original choreography from students of MSB, A Fractured Fairytale performed by Summer Program Students “Where Dance Meets Art” and a few dance pieces from MSB Film Project “Breaking Forward”.  There will be a student art gala to visit before or after you watch the performances, as well as merchandise and flowers for purchase.

Micaiah Lausche has been a dance instructor since she was 16, and started running her own dance program by 19. She launched Micaiah’s Studio of Ballet and LivFit Fitness in Valley City in 2014. Her studio is located in Valley City, at 316 Central Ave N. MSB offers a variety of classes that cover all ages and interests, from personal fitness to learning choreographed dances and leadership programs. MSB has a team of experienced Instructors who believe in helping each students achieve their potential as artist. MSB offers a scholarship called the “Art of Wellness” which helps families with tuition. This scholarship is made possible by the Dare to Create Foundation for the Arts. Bring your family and enjoy the evening with neighbors & friends! A free will offering is taken each night for the continued support of the City Park Bandshell. In case of inclement weather, the program will be moved to the VCSU Froemke Music Building.
