VALLEY CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – It’s Fire Prevention Awareness Week.

Valley City Fire Chief Scott Magnuson said they will be visiting the schools and educating children on the importance of an evacuation plan in case there is a fire in your home.

And Barnes County 9-1-1 Dispatch Supervisor Sarah Miller talked about how important it is for citizens to give accurate information during an emergency.
