Author Bruce Berg and his book “Common Ground: McElroy Park’s Jack Brown Stadium”
JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Local Jamestown author Bruce Berg has been a fan of baseball, as is apparent by his book collection on the sport.
On Wednesday, November 10th, Berg donated more than 50 baseball books to the Jamestown Middle School.
Berg says current Middle School Librarian Jennifer Gall took over her position in 1995 after he stepped away.
Being an author and fan of the game, Berg also wrote the book “Common Ground: McElroy Park’s Jack Brown Stadium”, which features stories on the historic stadium in Jamestown.
Berg was also a guest of the library Wednesday afternoon, telling some middle school students about his books and collection. But there was a message Berg hoped the students would take with them.
