
LITCHVILLE, N.D. (BCSO) – Two people are facing felony animal cruelty charges following an investigation by the Barnes County Sheriff’s office stemming from an incident on March 25th of 2022.
In a release, Sheriff Randy McClaflin says they responded to the 500 block of 7th Street in Litchville, ND regarding a repossession of property.
“During the repossession of property an individual hired by the property owner reported to Sheriff’s Deputies that he found four deceased pets located on the property,” Sheriff McClaflin reports.
It’s believed the individuals had left the property unattended for a prolonged period of time.
An arrest warrant was issued for Candice Lynn and David Lee Johnson Jr. Anyone who has information on the whereabouts of these two individuals should call the Barnes County Sheriff’s office in Valley City at 701-845-8530.
