Carrington Out of the Darkness Walk Planning Underway

CARRINGTON, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Carrington Healthy Communities Coalition is currently planning a September Out of the Darkness Walk.

Coalition Vice President Jen Whitman says the September 13th event.

Whitman says they’re already accepting registrations for the event, both individuals and teams.

She says they’ll be meeting on Sunday, May 15th in the Carrington City Library Community Room at 3 PM to continue planning.

Whitman adds you can also fundraise and make a donation to support the walk and its cause. Those interested can visit afsp.org/carrington for more information. It’s also available on multiple Facebook pages including the Healthy Communities Coalition.

Coalition President Michelle Seil says they’re also welcoming sponsorship opportunities.
