JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Jamestown Sanitation Department has announced the return to alleyway garbage and recycle pickup.

Starting Tuesday, May 31, 2022, crews will resume residential alleyway collection. Recycle North Dakota crews will also resume residential recycling collection in the alleyways. You’re asked to place carts so arrows face the alley for automated collection.

All materials must be inside the cart for automated collection. Any materials on top or next to the cart will not be collected. Carts should be placed out for collection by 7:00 A.M. Trucks will not return to the area due to missed carts placed out after the scheduled collection route has been completed.

For further information, contact the City Sanitation Department at Sanitation@JamestownND.gov or 701-252-5223.

Routes will also be delayed one day for the Memorial Day Holiday. There will be no pickup Monday, May 30th. The Baling Facility and Recycling Center will be closed Monday, May 30. Regular hours will resume on Tuesday, May 31.
