OAKES, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Oakes Fire & Rescue is hosting a golf tournament at the Oakes Golf Course on Saturday, July 23rd.

The tournament will consist of 18 teams with a cost of $50 per person making up a four-person team. The tournament is a scramble and registration will begin at 9:00 a.m. with the tournament will teeing off at 10:00 a.m. The cost will include lunch and there will be prizes at the end of the tournament.

A pulled pork supper will be served at 6:00 p.m. and is open to the public with a free-will offering. A live auction will take place at 7:00 p.m. A Savage AXIS II Creedmoor with scope, a grill, an American flag made of used fire hose and a cooler of meat will all be up for bid. There will also be a silent auction and gun raffle boards there all day. The evening will finish with The Woofers performing at 8:00 p.m. Everyone will have a chance to win a golf cart during the hole-in-one challenge. If no one makes one, the cart will be included in the live auction.
