JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The James River Humane Society is making use of the last bits of good weather to improve the shelter for its volunteers and furry inhabitants.
Jay Nitschke is a board member with the James River Humane Society. She says these improvements will also be to the benefit of visitors and potential adopters.
The shelter also continues to open to the public on a limited basis Sundays from 1PM to 3PM. Visits can be scheduled by contacting cat manager Sheila at 701-367-6913 or dog manager Kris at 701-269-2803.
The non-profit, no kill shelter has operated since 1985. You can visit jamesriverhumanesociety.org for more information and adopt a cat or dog today.
