Carrington Track & Speech Teams Results From Saturday, March 25th

CARRINGTON, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) Both the Carrington Track and Field team and the Carrington Speech team were in action over the weekend on Saturday, March 25th, here are the results:

From Coach Greg Hoeckle: NDSU Class B State Indoor Meet

Girls: Team Champion

Event Winners: 1600 and 800 Madison Johnson, 3200 Kenadie Pazdernik, 4 x 800 Mercedes Lura, Kenadie Pazdernik, Kacie Rexin, Edyn Hoornaert

Runners-up: 60 Hurdles and Pole Vault Haley Wolsky, 4 x 400 Kennedy Wendel, Isabel Wendel, Kacie Rexin, Edyn Hoornaert

Boys: 6^th place

Event Winners: 200 and 400 Logan Weninger, 4 x 400 Jaxon Schaeffer, McKade Zink, Ryder Bickett, Logan Weninger

Next up for the Carrington Track and Field team will be on Saturday, April 1st at the Thundering Herd meet in Fargo.

Congratulations to the members of the speech team who attended the meet at BCN this past Saturday. Briley Carr placed 4^th in Extemporaneous Programmed Reading and 5^th in humorous interpretation, Joie Helseth placed 6^th in humorous interpretation, Alexis Harris placed 7^th in storytelling, and Eric Hallwachs placed 8^th in storytelling.

Next up for the Carrington Speech team will be the regional speech meet in Carrington on Saturday, April 15th.
