LISBON, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) After early touchdowns by both teams, the Lisbon Broncos scored five unanswered TD’s and cruise to the 40-13 victory over Ellendale/Edgeley/Kulm Thunder Friday night. RV Lisbon is now 3-0 overall and in Class A Region 1, EEK drops to 1-2 overall and in Class A Region 1.

The Broncos got on the board early in the first quarter after Junior Seamus Kelly ran 53 yards for the touchdown, less than 90 seconds into the game. The Thunder came right back and scored a touchdown of their own about two minutes later after Senior QB Jacob Nitschke connected with Junior Wide Receiver Joseph Kramlich for a 20-yard touchdown reception. With the score tied at six all, the Broncos went on a tear, scoring five unanswered touchdowns. Senior QB Wyatt Olson would have three of them, including a 23-yard touchdown pass to Blaze Reinke and a 60-yard catch and run touchdown to Kelly. Olson also had a one yard touchdown run on a quarterback sneak. EEK would score the last TD of the game, when Nitschke ran in from 39 yards out about three minutes into the fourth quarter.
