VALLEY CITY, N.D. (VCBA) – The Valley City Baseball Association will host a Preseason Informational Meeting on Sunday, Feb. 4, regarding its summer American Legion and Babe Ruth baseball teams.

The meeting will start at 4:30 p.m. at the Hi-Liner Activity Center. Parents or guardians of players ages 13-18 planning to play Valley City Legion or Babe Ruth baseball this summer are encouraged to attend. Coaches will be on hand, along with VCBA board members, to talk about and answer questions regarding the upcoming season, the VCBA baseball programs and future plans.

Registration for the VCBA summer baseball programs opens Feb. 1 and can be done online at www.valleycitybaseball.org/registration. Players that register before March 1 will receive the early registration rate of $200 for Babe Ruth and $250 for Legion. Registration fees for those signing up after Feb. 28 will be $250 for Babe Ruth players and $300 for Legion.

The Feb. 4 meeting will also serve as the VCBA’s annual meeting where community members can hear about the VCBA budget.
