
JAMESTOWN – On Tuesday, University of Jamestown Football Head Coach Brian Mistro announced changes to the coaching staff for 2024.
Eric Becker is the new wide receivers coach. Last year, Becker was the Wide Receivers Coach / Offensive Graduate assistant at Central Washington. He also has served as offensive coordinator at Monterey Peninsula College and was an undergraduate assistant coach at San José State.
The Jimmies’ new defensive backs coach is Jake Lehman. He was the defensive backs coach for New Mexico Highlands in 2023 and has coached at Presentation College and his alma mater, Northern Colorado.
Associate head coach and offense coordinator Jason Challeen also adds duties of coaching the offensive line. 2024 will be Challeen’s 11th season in his second stint at UJ.
Matt Chauvin becomes Jamestown’s new quarterbacks coach. Chauvin has served as a graduate assistant for the last two seasons.
