JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – St. John’s Academy, (Pre-K through 8th Grade) Jamestown, ND is hosting fundraiser concert on Saturday, April 27th, 2024, at the Jamestown Civic Center.

Former lead singers from the bands “Journey”, “Lynyrd Skynyrd”, “Kansas” and the former lead vocalist for “Boston” will unite for a fund-raising concert on Saturday, April 27th to support the operation of 133-year-old St. John’s Academy!

School principal Jeff Trumbauer announced several school alumni and community business owners felt this planned concert would be, “a must attend musical event to help combat rising costs of private education support the ideal of Catholic-based learning in south central North Dakota.”

Attendees can see and hear the soundtrack of their lives for one night at the Jamestown Civic Center, Saturday, April 27th and dance to the music of Grammy award artist John Elefante “Dust in the Wind/ Carry On Wayward Son” from Kansas, Fran Cosmo from Boston, Kevin Chalfant “Don’t Stop Believing” who performed as a singer with Journey and the Storm and Randall Hall “Free Bird” from Lynyrd Skynyrd and all their former bands’ hits. Four classic rock legends in one live musical experience!

Proceeds benefit St. John’s Academy a pre-school, grade school and middle Catholic Christian school in Jamestown, ND.
