VALLEY CITY, N.D. (VCSU) – The Valley City State University Concert Choir and University Singers will present the spring choral concert in the Center for the Arts Performance Hall on Friday, May 3, at 7:30 pm. Admission to the concert is free, and donations to support the work of the ensembles are welcome.

The concert will commence with the University Singers, under the directing of student conductors. Tara Dahl, Tanner Douville, Madilyn Klabo, and Grady Hornung will each take the helm, guiding the ensemble through a dynamic array of choral compositions spanning various styles.

This seamless integration of student leadership promises an evening of musical excellence. In the second half of the concert, the Concert Choir will present four selections from by renowned choral composer Jocelyn Hagen. Hagen has strong ties to Valley City, and her multimedia-influenced choral music promises to captivate the audience with its depth and beauty.
