MINOT – For one half, shots fell for Jamestown Blue Jay Girls Basketball. Then, a struggling 18 minutes led to a road loss.
Addison Clark scored 14 of her 19 points in the second half Thursday as Minot North rallied for a 66-59 win over Jamestown at Minot North High School.
Clark knocked down three three-pointers and took seven rebounds.
Elli Laskowski scored 15 with three three-pointers and 10 rebounds for the Sentinels (6-14, 4-12 WDA), who outscored Jamestown 41-24 in the second half. Ashlee Williamson added 11 points.
Haley Attleson hit four threes and led Jamestown (6-13, 4-12) with 16 points. Milan Martin tallied 11 (three three-pointers) and Macey Neumiller fired in 10 (two threes).
Jamestown led by as much as 11 points in the first half and by 35-25 at halftime thanks in part to nine-of-18 three-point shooting. However, the Blue Jays were held to two-of-19 from beyond the arc in the second half.
Through Thursday, these teams were tied for eighth in the WDA standings, one game behind seventh-place Williston. The Blue Jay girls and boys will host Williston on Friday at Jerry Meyer Arena.
