BISMARCK – University of Jamestown junior Hope Ransome was named as the NSAA Softball Pitcher of the Week for the week ending April 6.

On Sunday, Ransome improved to 3-0 in conference play and 6-4 overall as UJ defeated Dakota State 8-0 in the first game of a doubleheader inside the Nelson Family Bubble.  She pitched six scoreless innings, allowing just two hits, striking out eight and walking two.
