
JAMESTOWN – Layla Becker and Brielle Martin each scored twice Tuesday as Jamestown Blue Jays Girls Soccer remained unbeaten with a 4-1 win over Minot North at Rotary Field.
Becker began the scoring in the third minute for the Blue Jays (3-0, 3-0 WDA).
Becker tallied again in the 23rd minute, assisted by Quinn Biloff.
Jamestown’s 109-minute shutout streak to begin the season ended when Kohlee Roberts scored in the 29th minute for Minot North (1-2, 1-2).
Both of the goals by Martin came in the second half, assisted by Amelia Newman in the 63rd minute and set up by Hannah Attleson in the 78th minute.
Anna Lunde made five saves.
Jamestown is scheduled to play at Mandan Thursday.
