BISMARCK – University of Jamestown Men’s Golf picked up a win with its first team and the number one team for UJ Women’s Golf was second at the NDGA Open, which concluded Wednesday at Riverwood Golf Club.

For the UJ 1 men’s team, Gehrig Geiss was second individually at four-over 148 (72-76).  Logan Schons took third at seven-over 151 (76-75).  Aidan Hall placed fourth, shooting nine-over 153 (75-78).  Max Noffsinger tied for fifth, firing 10-over 154 (81-73).  Bodie Williams was seventh at 11-over 155 (74-81).

Logan Douglas was ninth individually, playing on the UJ 2 team.  He shot 15-over 159 (85-74).  Easton Romsdal finished at 19-over 163 (82-81).  Aiden McLain carded 29-over 173 (91-82).  Sam Boser had 33-over 177 (93-84).

The UJ 1 women’s team was led by Ellie Garavaglia, who finished second individually at 19-over 163 (76-87)  Isabella Crafford was sixth at 31-over 175 (89-86).  Celi Nelson placed seventh with 32-over 176 (83-93).  Kacie Rexin had 36-over 180 (92-88).  Kyra Hager tied for 12th at 37-over 181 (94-87).

On the UJ 2 women’s team, Taylor Martin was ninth individually at 35-over 179 (97-82).  Tori Worner shot 37-over 181 (90-91) and tied for 12th.  Peyton Johnson fired 42-over 186 (97-89).  Ava Thorenson shot 56-over 200 (98-102).

Both teams will compete on April 28 and 29 in the NSAA Championships in Lincoln, Nebraska.
