
DICKINSON – Jamestown Blue Jay Softball split a pair of games Friday at the Dickinson High Invitational at the Sanford Sports Complex. The Jays lost 12-1 to Williston before breaking their five-game losing streak with an 11-7 win over Beulah.
Williston 12, Jamestown 1 (5)
At Eagles Field, Rylee Irgens homered and Mekiah Klumker tripled to lead Williston (11-2).
Avery Graves (0-1) gave up six runs in three innings and walked six for Jamestown (6-7). She also drove in the only run for the Blue Jays with a single in the first inning.
Jamestown 11, Beulah 7
At Dakota Community Field, Brooke Jackson had three hits and a RBI and Megan Jarrett had two hits as Jamestown (7-7) took advantage of six Beulah errors.
Rilie Wolf drove in two runs.
Maddie Hoff (4-4) struck out 10 in a complete game win.
The Blue Jays will face Red River and Legacy on Saturday.
