BISMARCK – Amelia Newman scored with 15 minutes remaining Thursday to give Jamestown Blue Jay Girls Soccer a 1-0 win over Bismarck High at MDU Resources Community Bowl.

Hannah Attleson set up Newman’s sixth goal of the season in the 65th minute.  The goal ties Newman with Layla Becker for the team lead.

Anna Lunde made four saves in the Blue Jay goal.

Jamestown will play the second of back-to-back games against St. Mary’s Friday at Rotary Field.
