
MEDORA, N.D. (NDCHF) – The North Dakota Cowboy Hall of Fame (NDCHF) announced the notable individuals selected for induction into its Hall of Honorees. These nominees are recognized for their exceptional character and unique contributions to preserving and promoting North Dakota’s rich western heritage and lifestyle. Nominees have played vital roles in the development of North Dakota’s cowboy culture through their success in ranching, rodeo, and the arts.
The 2025 North Dakota Cowboy Hall of Fame Inductees are:
Pre-1940s Ranching: Andrew Nohle
Modern Era Ranching: Lester Anderson
Pre-1970s Rodeo: Esley Thorton, Sr.
Modern Era Rodeo: Peggy Ward
Modern Era Rodeo: Ed Hall
Western Arts & Entertainment: Kaye Burian
Great Westerner: Dr. Victor Hugo Stickney
Formal public recognition of the 2025 inductees will begin on Friday, June 13, with a celebratory dinner at the North Dakota Cowboy Hall of Fame in Medora.
