VALLEY CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Firefighters have been busy putting out grass fires in the area.
On Monday, May 12th, firefighters from Valley City worked for several hours trying to contain a grass fire some 12 miles south of Interstate 94 along the Peak Road in Barnes County.
On Tuesday, May 13th crews battled a grass fire a few miles southeast of the King Schoolhouse after it ignited and a gusty southeast wind fueled the fire to burn several acres. No injuries reported in either of these incidents.
