MANDAN – In its best showing of 2025, Jamestown Blue Jay boys golf tied for second Tuesday in the Mandan Invitational at Prairie West Golf Club.

Jamestown and Williston shot 304, seven shots behind winner Minot North.

Four Blue Jay golfers qualified individually for next month’s Class A state event by shooting 79 or better.  Jace Dillman and Hunter Gegelman both shot two-over 74 and tied for fifth.  Vaughn Romsdal shot 77 and Luke LeFevre fired a 79.

Also for Jamestown, Griffin Gegelman shot 85 and Nate Walz had 95.

Jamestown will host their invitational Friday at Jamestown Country Club.
