JAMESTOWN – Again, Jamestown Blue Jay Girls Soccer couldn’t top the WDA’s top team, but it wasn’t a loss this time.

Layla Becker converted a penalty kick with five minutes remaining Thursday to give Jamestown a 1-1 draw with Minot inside the Nelson Family Bubble on the University of Jamestown campus.

Jayda Schall had scored in the 55th minute for Minot (12-0-2).

Anna Lunde made six saves in goal for the Blue Jays (8-2-2), who moved into a tie for second place in the WDA standings.

Jamestown will host Bismarck High Saturday at 1:00 PM at Rotary Field.
