VALLEY CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Valley City P.E.O. Chapter A announced that a local student won a prestigious P.E.O. Scholarship.

Leah Hochhalter received the P.E.O. STAR Scholarship. This is a one-time $2,500 scholarship available to women, recommended by a P.E.O. chapter, who exhibit excellence in leadership, academics, extracurricular activities, community service and potential for future success.

Leah is a 2025 graduate of Valley City High School, and will attend Western Michigan University, studying BFA acting for film and television and minoring in dance.
