
Officer Chaise Johnson
VALLEY CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Chaise Johnson was sworn in as the newest police officer for the City of Valley City during a regular City Commission meeting on Tuesday, May 20th.
In a news release from Police Chief Nick Horner, ” The Valley City Police Department is pleased to welcome Officer Chaise Johnson as the newest member of its team. A native of Valley City, Officer Johnson brings a strong sense of community and dedication to his new role in public service. Officer Johnson is a recent graduate of the 150th North Dakota Police Academy, where he graduated at the top of his class on April 25th. His appointment with the Valley City Police Department marks the beginning of his career in law enforcement. Outside of his professional duties, Officer Johnson enjoys spending quality time with his wife and their three children. Together, they enjoy camping and participating in a variety of outdoor activities—reflecting his strong ties to the local area. Officer Johnson looks forward to serving the citizens of Valley City and contributing to the safety and well-being of his hometown. The department is confident in his abilities and excited for the positive impact he will make as part of the team.”
Valley City Mayor Dave Carlsrud conducted the brief swearing in ceremony just before the city commission meeting.
