
JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) -On Tuesday, May 20, 2025, the North American Bison Discovery Center announced the addition of four new members to its Board of Directors. The new Board members join seven existing members who play a vital role in guiding programs, supporting fundraising, and ensuring the success of the Bison Center and its mission.
The new members include Kelsey A. Krapp, Owner/Operator, Bison Ranch Lodge & Outfitters, Dr. Melissa “Mel” Pardi, Assistant Curator of Geology, Illinois State Museum, Don Williams, Owner, Williams Construction, and Alexis Young, Senior Digital Advertising Strategist, Delegator.
“I’m very excited to welcome this stellar group of Board members,” said Ilana Xinos, Executive Director, North American Bison Discovery Center. “As with any nonprofit organization, our Board plays an essential role in helping us prioritize, ensuring we stay dedicated to our mission, and helping to raise both awareness and funding. These four members have a varied set of skills, diverse perspectives, and a love for the North American bison that will complement the knowledge and experience that our current Board members bring to the table, and in turn, will strengthen our organization.”
