MINOT – Playing their best golf of the season at the right time assures Jamestown Blue Jays Boys Golf of playing one more time as a team.

Jamestown finished fourth in the Class A West Region tournament Wednesday at Souris Valley Golf Course.  The Blue Jays shot 313, led by a 74 from Jace Dillman, who tied for fifth individually and earned All-WDA honors, based on his season scoring average.

Luke LeFevre tied for eighth by shooting 76.  Hunter Gegelman carded an 80.  Vaughn Romsdal and Nate Walz each fired 83.  Griffin Gegelman shot 87.

Century won by shooting 303.

The Blue Jays will play in the NDHSAA Class A State Championship on Tuesday and Wednesday at Vardon Golf Club in Minot.  Dillman, Hunter Gegelman, Griffin Gegelman, LeFevre and Romsdal also qualified for the individual championship.
