VALLEY CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Valley City Police Department received a report of a black bear sighting in the area of 4th Avenue SW and Riverview Drive.

Police Chief Nick Horner said if you observe a black bear or any wildlife in the area, do not approach. Instead, immediately contact the Valley City Police Department at 701-845-3110 or the Barnes County Dispatcher at 701-845-8181.
