Duane Wolsky, 80, of Valley City, North Dakota, passed away suddenly on June 8, 2025, due to unexpected complications. 

Duane was a lifelong resident of Jamestown/Valley City, ND where he built his home. In 1971, he married Lana Jones, and together they shared over five decades of love and family. He devoted more than 20 years to the North Dakota State Hospital, as a plumber. 

Duane is survived by his beloved wife, Lana Wolsky; his daughters, Dawn Johnson and Robin Putnam (Rob Putnam); and his cherished grandson, Paul Neary. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who knew him. 

Private services will be held by the family. The family encourages acts of kindness in Duane’s memory.
