VALLEY CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The following is a news release from the Valley City Parks and Recreation office.

Parks and Recreation Director Tyler Jacobson said we have a lot of trees down and debris from the storm, for the safety of the public we ask that they stay out of City Park. Our staff will work and remove debris as quickly as we can. We will focus on areas with the least amount of damage first. This will be a long process and we ask the public to be patient. Our staff is working diligently to restore all of our property.

Due to unforeseen circumstances there will be no music in the City Park Bandshell on Wednesday, June 25th. Hopefully the music will return on Wednesday, July 2nd once the City Park reopens after tree cleanup. Stay tuned for more details down the road.
