BISMARCK, N.D. (PPR) – A 295 megawatt solar power project has been okayed in Richland County North Dakota.
It’s called the “Flickertail Solar Project.” And the North Dakota Public Service Commission has okayed the project.
PCS Commissioner Jill Kringstad.
PSC Chairman Randy Christmann says he was skeptical of the project. He says he thought that the entire county was very productive farmland.
Christmann says he raised that question at the public hearing.
Flickertail has a power purchase agreement with Otter Tail Power Company.
