hi-liner-help
VALLEY CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Valley City has stepped up “BIGTIME” to help our community cleanup after the storm.  We have been asked by several businesses and organizations if they can send volunteers to help clean up on Wednesday or Thursday.  The answer is “YES”! There is still a need to help others and we will accept anyone willing to lend a helping hand.  If your business/organization or student/community group would like to get involved in the volunteering effort on Wednesday or Thursday, please contact us at 701.845.0483 ext. 0. or send us an email to josh.johnson@k12.nd.us or courtnie.d.fick@k12.nd.us.
The plan for Wednesday and Thursday will be to meet at our VCPS District Offices at 8:00 AM (460 Central Avenue N.) before we head to the locations in Valley City for the cleanup efforts.  We will gladly accept volunteers for a few hours or half and full day.  If you have any questions about volunteering, please don’t hesitate to contact us.
Thank YOU to the amazing responses and efforts from the City of Valley City, Barnes County, all VC/BC Emergency Responders,  Cass County Electric.  We would like to give a Shout-Out to several businesses and individuals for helping in the cleanup effort: Dacotah Bank (donating water), Matt Maresh (donating equipment), The Title Team (donating water, gloves, etc.), Pizza Ranch (food for volunteers), John Deer Seeding Group, and Integrity Painting (lift).  We apologize if we inadvertently excluded anyone from this list.
