MOORHEAD (NewsDakota)- Finally, a little momentum for the Jamestown Eagles.

Jaxon Kolpin tossed a four-hit shutout and the Eagles used early offense to wrap up the weekend with a 6-0 win over Maple Plain on Sunday at the Jim Pettersen Fargo-Moorhead Invitational Tournament in Moorhead.

Jamestown (8-16) scored two runs in each of the first three innings to set the tone, and from there, Kolpin shut it down, tossing the four-hitter on just 91 pitches while walking two and punching out six.  Offensively, Braxton Perkins and Mason Joseph each scored twice.
