
CASS COUNTY, N.D. (CCSO) – The Cass County Sheriff’s Office, along with Southern Valley Fire & Rescue, responded to a report of a vehicle fire on State Highway 46, approximately two miles west of Interstate 29 around 3:40 a.m. Tuesday, July 1st.
Initial reports advised that the vehicle was fully engulfed in flames and that no individuals were seen in or around the area. When first responders arrived, it was confirmed that the passenger vehicle was unoccupied and fully engulfed.
After the fire was extinguished, the vehicle was towed from the scene, and it was later confirmed that it had been stolen from Fargo. The Cass County Sheriff’s Office is unaware of any injuries as a result of the fire, and the Sheriff’s Office will continue to work with the Fargo Police Department as the investigation moves forward.
