JAMESTOWN (NewsDakota)- After seeing their three game losing streak snapped, the Jamestown Eagles bounced back with a win in game two as the 2025 Phil Brown Classic continued at Jack Brown Stadium on Saturday.

Bonivital Black Sox (MB) 5 Jamestown 2

Cal Lagace had two RBI, Ben Graham and Tyler Molllons each had two hits, and the Black Sox ended the Eagles winning streak at three with a 5-2 decision.  Lagace’s tw-run double opened the scoring in the first and while Jamestown got RBIs from Thomas Newman and Bennett Goehner, it was not enough as Bonivital limited the Eagles to four hits for the game.

Five runs combined in the second and third innings were enough for the Eagles (10-17) to earn the victory.  Cody Busch and Thomas Newman had second inning RBIs while in the third, Kale Verke had a sacrifice fly and Edison Walters delivered a two-run single in support of Jaxon Kolpin, who tossed a complete game two-hitter to earn the win.  Busch added a sacrifice fly in the sixth inning.
