
CARRINGTON – Edgeley scored five runs in the first two innings Wednesday to hold off Carrington in District 4B Legion baseball 6-2 at the stadium inside the city park.
Ross Fredenburg and Jacob Nitschke drove in two runs each in the first two innings for Edgeley (10-2).
Errors brought in the runs in the first and third innings for Carrington (1-3).
Tate Wolsky (1-1) allowed six runs and six hits in six innings with seven strikeouts while throwing 126 pitches for Carrington Post 25.
Trent Johnson (4-0) pitched a three-hitter for Edgeley Post 14, striking out six.
