JAMESTOWN – Aleona Reyes, Sarah Becker, Mandi Krueger, Sam Joseph, Tim Graf and Lynette Fitterer are the 2025 inductees for the University of Jamestown Athletics Hall of Fame.

Reyes was a three-time NAIA cross-country All-American (2011, ’12, ’13) and is the all-time leading point-scorer for Jimmie women’s cross-country.  She set a school record in track in the distance medley relay in 2014 and is in the top 10 in school history in multiple track events.  Reyes was on Dakota Athletic Conference championship teams in 2011, ’13 and ’14.

In volleyball, Becker led the nation in hitting percentage in 2013 and her overall hitting percentage is seventh in NAIA history.  Becker, a four-year starter for the Jimmies, was twice a second team NAIA All-American, was DAC Player of the Year in 2011 and was NSAA Player of the Year in 2013.

Krueger was a track standout, winning the NDCAC individual championship in 1994 and the NAIA Great Plains Regional individual championship in 1997.  She won six NDCAC event titles and qualified all for years for the NAIA Track & Field Championships.  Krueger was the third leading Jimmie women’s cross-country scorer at her graduation.

Joseph played only two years of UJ baseball, but still ranks among the program’s best players.  He is the only two-year Jimmie player to have more than 100 RBI (122).  At Joseph’s graduation, he was second in program history in doubles, home runs, RBI, total bases, walks and slugging percentage.  Joseph was part of the 2004 team that was inducted into the UJ Athletic Hall of Fame in 2014.

Graf is this year’s winner of the Rollie Greeno Award for outstanding commitment in the field of education and coaching.  He is retiring after a career of nearly 40 years that included being a teacher, coach, principal, athletic director and superintendent in North Dakota and South Dakota.  Graf has won yearly awards as a basketball coach, athletic director, school administrator and superintendent.

Fitterer passed away in June 2024 and will be inducted posthumously as this year’s winner of the Jim Clark Award for outstanding commitment to character driven, servant leadership.  She was a well-respected educator and coach, a longtime softball umpire, and also served as mayor of New Salem.  Fitterer broke the UJ women’s javelin record in 1987.  She later coached women’s basketball and track and UJ and was a student coach for NDSU women’s basketball.

This year’s UJ Athletic Hall of Fame induction ceremony will be held on Friday, October 3 as part of the school’s 100th homecoming.
