CASS COUNTY, N.D. (CCSO) – The Cass County Sheriff’s Office will conduct an active shooter training exercise on Tuesday, July 15, between 6 p.m. and 10 p.m. at Northern Cass School District 97 (16021 18th Street SE, Hunter, ND.)

Sheriff Jesse Jahner said please do not be alarmed if you see an increased law enforcement presence in this area, additional law enforcement vehicles, CCSO personnel carrying firearms, or hear loud noises. This is a planned training exercise with the Sheriff’s Office, Rural First Responders, and the Northern Cass School. Any media wishing to interview the instructors about the training can do so at 7 p.m. at the school.
