VALLEY CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The renovation of McCarthy Hall at Valley City State University is almost finished.

VCSU President Dr. Alan LaFave said McCarthy Hall will become the new home for VCSU’s nationally recognized School of Education and Technology and STEM Education.

The $13.5 million project was made possible through the support of donors, of some $2 million raised locally with another $11.5 million allocated by the North Dakota Legislature during the 2023 session.
Another project underway this summer is turf replacement on the football field.

The field will be renamed Dacotah Field following a generous donation to Valley City State University from Dacotah Bank.
